- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆When a Chubbuck policeman stops you for a traffic violation watch how they hide their faces so you can't see or talk to them eye-to-eye. Quite unprofessional I believe. They won't even stand next to the window when they tell you to sign their citation....oops, I guess they don't want you to know who they are...??? Have one of them explain why they don't enforce, or correct, the road paint west of Yellowstone on Chubbuck Road....There are two sets of double-yellow solid stripes representing a center divider. In all of their wisdom they have placed some two-way left turn arrows between those double lines...it would appear it is either legal, or illegal, to turn left through the divider at that point...anybody care to take a guess or should we just leave it up to the engineering department to explain how the whole thing works? If it is illegal, is the turn ever enforced? If it is illegal, or just an oversight of the paint crew...it should be one way or the other...or am I just another victim of the Chubbuck Police Department?By Ken Curtis, August 26, 2017
